Educational Service
وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدۡنِي عِلۡمٗا SURAH TA-HA AYAT 114 (20:114) Translation: My Lord, increase me in knowledge. Education is a very important aspect of Islam and also our main goal at Barkat ul Quran . In today’s world, our moral and Islamic values are being compromised often. Therefore, it is extremely important to provide our children with a solid Islamic foundation. For every Muslim the foundation of their iman is based upon the Quran and Seerah of Rasool Allah (sallā-llāhu 'alayhi wa-sallam). Quran and Seerah of Rasool Allah (sallā-llāhu 'alayhi wa-sallam) serves as an extensive roadmap that guides every Muslim on how to lead their lives and fulfill their responsibilities as an individual, neighbors, friends, family, etc. To fulfill this noble cause and to prepare our next generation, our Imam Allama Mukhtaar Shah Naeemi sahab has started Madrassah Nehemiah. In Madrassah Naemiah children are taught Quran with correct tajweeed , tarteel and qirat. In addition to Quranic lesson the course work also includes Hadith lessons.In addition to the daily classes, summer school is also available for kids engage children and youth in activities that combine both learning and fun within an Is Our Imam Allama Mukhtaar Shah Naeemi sahab builds a strong Islamic foundation into kids’ minds, so they grow up to become good, practicing and educated Muslim individuals.
Funeral Service
Losing a family member or a friend is devastating . During these tough times, our team at Barkaat ul Quran will be by your side every step of the way and will help you prepare for your loved one’s last journey to meet Allah (SWT). Our Imam is available to perform Janaza prayer at any location of your preference. Barkat ul Qura collaborates with all Islamic funeral homes approved/licensed by the State of Texas to provide funeral services. Additional Services: Soyam & Chelum Soyam is a gathering which is typically held on the 3rd day and Chehlum is normally held on the 40th day after the death of your loved one. The intent of these gathering is Isal e Sawab (Conveying rewards of your good deeds to the deceased) for the deceased. The soyam gathering includes reciting of Qur’an Shareef, Kalma shareef, Darood shareef and passing the reward of all these noble deeds to the deceased. At the end of the gathering Surah’s from Quran and Durood shareef are recited by Imam, as Khatam (ending of the gathering) and congregational Duaa of maghfirah is made. These gatherings are not confined to particular days, times and programmes rather this could be done as and when one wishes. Barkaat ul Quran makes arrangement for these service per your preferences and will cater your requirements to the best of our ability.
Nikkah Service
Sunan Ibn Majah 1847 Translation: There is nothing like marriage. In Islam, one officially enters into a marriage; a beautiful, lifelong commitment with the one they hold dearest to them through Nikah. Nikah is considered a blessing bestowed upon us by Allah in Islam, which puts together two people who complete each other and their deen. Nikah Services are alos provided at Barkaat ul Quran. All Nikahs and marriages are officiated by Imam Mukhtaar Shah Naeemi sahab. Procedure: 1. Bring all necessary documents as described in the policy section above 2. communicate with the person in charge via email or phone 3. schedule a meeting with the family to go over the program flow and other requirements 4. Inform the family whether or not the nikah has been approved 5. Barkaat ul Quran mangaement will also send a form to be filled out by the family members. This must be filled out as soon as possible. Policy: 1. All rules and policies must be followed. A refusal of any type could lead to a termination of the program. 2. Only prepacked sweets can be distributed to the guests. 3. Modest attire for all guests and participants and hired photographers are required. anyone violating this rule will be asked to leave the premises. no exceptions. Violations include : (a) Transparent and see-through clothing and (b) Skirts 4. Music/ Nasheed is strictly prohibited. 5. Men and women will have separate seating accommodations.
Weekly Zikr
Mehfile Zikr is held every Friday for the families. The program includes recitation of Quran by the students of Madrassah Nehemiah, Naat shareef, speech by our Imam Allama Mukhtaar Shah Naeemi sahab and performing of Dikr (remembering Allah (SWT)). At the end of the Mehfil Surah’s from Quran and Durood shareef are recited as Khatam (ending of the gathering) and congregational Duaa is made. After the Duaa food is served.
