Imaan

Imaan

The Foundation of Faith

Imaan — faith — is the foundation upon which a Muslim’s entire life is built. For every Muslim, the foundation of their iman rests upon the Qur’an and the Seerah of Rasool Allah ﷺ, which together serve as an extensive roadmap guiding a believer through every responsibility — as an individual, a neighbour, a friend, and within their family.

The Articles of Faith

Belief in Allah ﷻ

His absolute Oneness (Tawheed), His eternal existence, and His power over all things.

The Qur’an & Books

The final revelation, confirming and preserving the scriptures that came before it.

The Prophets ﷺ

From Adam to Muhammad ﷺ — Allah’s chosen messengers, sent as guides and mercy.

From Belief to Practice

Imaan is not words alone — it is a light that shapes character, worship and conduct. It is strengthened through knowledge, the remembrance of Allah ﷻ, and the company of the righteous.

At Barkaat-ul-Quran, our madrasah, weekly gatherings and the guidance of our Imam are all devoted to nurturing strong, sincere and lasting imaan in the hearts of young and old alike.

“The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith.”
