Mawlid an-Nabi ﷺ

The Mawlid Shareef

The Mawlid (Meelad) Shareef is a gathering of love — a celebration of the arrival of the greatest mercy to all the worlds, our master Muhammad ﷺ. It is a time when the community comes together in remembrance, gratitude and joy at the blessing Allah ﷻ bestowed upon humanity.

These are all good things that a Muslim should do in a gathering — the recitation of the Qur’an, praise of the Beloved ﷺ, learning his Seerah, the remembrance of Allah ﷻ, sending salutations, feeding people, and raising hands in du’a.

At Barkaat-ul-Quran, Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ is among the cherished programs held throughout the year, alongside our weekly Mehfil-e-Zikr — gatherings centred on love, light and connection to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
